FAQ\'S

• What are your fees?
  Our current rate for private clients is £1120 per week. We currently have a contract with Trafford Borough Council and charge additional top up fees for council funded residents.
• Can we bring mum and dads furniture into the home?
  We encourage residents to personalise their rooms as they wish and you are free to bring furniture, televisions etc into the home. We will however need to perform potable appliance tests on all electrical items and ensure that any furnishings comply with fire regulations before allowing them into the home.
• What level of care do you provide?
  We provide nursing and residential care for the elderly. All admissions are subject to an assessment by our clinical lead nurse and are assessed on an individual basis. We do our very best ensure that we can provide the right level of care that the resident deserves before accepting admissions.
• How do we arrange care for my mum or dad?
  Once you have decided to choose Flixton Manor we will arrange an assessment to evaluate you or your relatives needs. This enables us to ensure that we can provide a high level of care that is right for you. We encourage family members and relatives to be fully involved in this process. Once we are happy that we can accommodate you an offer of residency is made. Once this is accepted we always allow residents a 6 week trial period to ensure that they are happy and settled and that we are comfortably meeting their needs. In nearly all cases, residents become happy and settled in their new home but no matter what happens we fully support them in whatever decision they wish to make.
